You will be missed forever, but you will never be forgotten.
Dad was one of most amazing people I have ever known. He could brighten any day, just by being himself. Randomly bursting into song because something you said reminded him of it; Endlessly playing games and messing about; Always, always being there when you need help or a shoulder to cry on.
He was my rock and I can’t put into words how much I’m going to miss him. It was one of my greatest goals just to make him proud. Life will never be the same, but I’m grateful to have had such a wonderful man in my life to guide me for the past 25 years.
Countless memories, and still too little.
I would like to thank everyone who has sent messages and shared how much he was loved and how many lives he has touched. It’s been a great comfort.
Much love and my condolences to all,
Kirsten
I was so saddened to hear of Dave’s passing at such a young age. I went to school with Dave and had many meetings with him throughout my life, he was a larger than life character with a big heart. I was visiting the UK 18 months ago and Dave was good enough to meet me for a few beers with a few other old school mates, needless to say it was just me and him the last two standing, little did I know it would be the last time I saw him, tragic. My deepest condolences go out to Dave’s family and I will be definitely raising a glass to celebrate his life on the day of his funeral, RIP Dave x
Gone too soon Dave, I am the few lucky one to cherish his friendship for nearly 2 decades, always made my day bright whenever we met, I will always remember your kindness, your smile, I will miss you Dave Bass, RIP in Love, in the heavenly abode.❤❤⚘⚘
Your Dad. Your Dad was a lad I remember at school 1st year in conynham secondary. The long blond hair and the amazing distance
He could spin chuck a rugby ball was simply epic. We was all new lads at this new school but all seemed to click . Had many great years at school and carried our friendship when we left school. ….. the most enjoyable time off our lives getting together at weekends getting merry together . Your dad would always be the last standing. DAVE used to do a legendary shout on the epic ramsgate pub crawls…..TEN SECONDS hed used to shout? On hearing this you had to shovel down ya beer and drag yourself to the next one. Legend . Also I remember your old dad used to sing meatloaf word to word down his old bar with uncle mike bloody hilarious such a joyful man . I’ll try and get some old photos to you xx
Dear Davy
You will always be loved!
And I know I have an angel watching over me!
Till we meet again!
